Prompt #1 There is truth in everything, anyone can find some form of truth in any kind of writing including myths. Even though the myth its self may be believed complete untrue such as the myth about Helios there is still some truth in it.the fiction in Helios was how all the stars were enemy's, the chariot he drew would fly through space, his horses that would drag the sun and the chariot could fly, and also the sun was something that could even be dragged around through space without burning the horses or chariot. and an example of some of the truth in the same myth was their emotions, like how Helios's son always loved to brag about his dad, and how he felt when one of his friends called him a liar, and how badly he wanted to prove them wrong that in the end killed him.Any myth could also just be 100% true there really also can not be anyway to fully prove if a myth is true or false since it really depends on whether or not you believe it is true.Myths are usually used to explain something like the myth about the grandmother spider. the grandmother spider is a myth by an Indian tribe that explains how people got fire, how to handle the fire, how we learned to make pottery, and how we learned to weave like a spider . to the tribe that the myth originated from really believe their myth is 100% true since they have many art that they put above there door to honor the spider. so what is true can only be true if you believe that it is.

Prompt #2 Even though the lord of the flies is more of a fictional book there is still much truth in it. A lot of the truth that is in the lord of the flies comes from the source of most of the conflict, that is each individual characters own emotions towards something. Each characters emotions would always get the best of them and get in the way of the things they needed to do to survive. Such as when ever something was needed to be done like building the shelters or keeping the fire going, all the characters would basically just confuse what they wanted to do at that moment, with what they needed to at that moment which really messed with all of their chances of surviving.few of the main emotions that got in the book that got in the way was the jealousy of jack to be the leader and also there was a lot of fear from most all the characters. So even though lord of the flies is more of a fictional book the truth that was in it had to do with their emotions, and in every thing a characters emotion can most always be a form of truth, which leads me to the conclusion again that some form of truth can be found in anything.

Prompt #3 To kill a mocking bird being a nonfictional book can relate a lot to our world now and the way it was in the 1900. One subject that continued to arise in the book was racism. Racism in the book was the main cause of the main conflict that led to most all of the main events. The main conflict that led to the ending of the book was the trial with Tom Robinson that was a great example of racism in the book since there was no good evidence that he was guilty and yet there was evidence that he was innocent but since he was black he was convicted as guilty and was killed for it. Racism was a big subject back then around the time of the book and is even still around today. Racism today has gone down a lot since the 1900s but still we hear about it today after so many years and is still a problem in our world as it was in the book. So in conclusion racism (that was a big subject in the book) in our society is something that will sadly never change since there will always be racists who can not be blinded by the little difference of skin color.

Prompt #4 There are two types of expectations we can have put on us, the expectations we put upon our selves and the expectations that are put upon us by others.
